John was a very dedicated and devoted funeral service practitioner, who was always eager to assist and educate future funeral directors. John so willingly accepted the position as chair of the Cape Cod Community College Funeral Service Advisory Board and always contributed so much. Even while battling with his health between hospital admissions, John, met via Zoom with the programs accrediting agency’s visiting site team, refusing to be absent for this monumental moment. One of his last tributes ,which shows how much he cared about helping others. He was a corner stone of both our embalming clinical and funeral directing practicum, providing students unwavering guidance as a preceptor as they entered the funeral industry. Students have seen John as their mentor seeking his knowledge well after their time working with him. John will be truly missed by so many whose lives he touched.
