Bud was invested in helping innovate the funeral industry we know today, and in supporting the next generation.  

 

Bud was a member of the Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association and served on the Board of Directors for six years. He served as chair of the Cape Cod Community College Funeral Service Advisory Board was a cornerstone of both their embalming clinical and funeral directing practicum, providing students unwavering guidance as a preceptor as they entered the funeral industry.

We have created a scholarship to continue Dad's impact in the funeral industry for decades to come.   The John "Bud" Faidell Memorial Scholarship will support students in the communities dad served who are pursuing a degree in Funeral Services.
